Renting your property

Our experienced Leasing Manager, Muriel Hall, oversees the marketing and management of our rental properties. Muriel has completed the Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3 Certificate in Letting and Managing Residential Property in 2018. Our office manager, Derek Reid also completed this qualification in 2018. Both Muriel and Derek regularly attend training courses to keep up to date with the latest changes affecting private residential rental properties. Neill Clerk will be registered as a Letting Agent with the Scottish Government to comply with the new regulations coming into force in the autumn of 2018. We are registered as a Scottish Government Letting Agent – our registration number is 1901039.

Prior to marketing we will visit the property to offer advice to ensure you understand/comply with the current legislation and Private Residential Tenancy Agreements. We will prepare an accurate description, and marketing materials for your property. All properties are advertised through our busy high street office and online with Rightmove, Onthemarket, plus S1 Homes to maximise interest. We will prepare a walk through video tour for all rental properties which will be published online with the major property websites.

We will conduct all viewings and once an acceptable tenant is secured we will prepare the lease agreement and all necessary paperwork. Following this we will manage the ongoing rental.
